Comments: Clock has new  batteries!
My favorite discussion was…….. Because…..
Jacob and Science Bowl Team. Great  budget report. Capital Outlay program. Rock Hill Schools 2012-2013 update. Science Bowl winners - educational competition is fun and ensures colaboration. Dr. Belton, Mrs. Hahn, and Mrs. Owens did a good job of giving the "big picture" of math common core. They are extremely knowledgable.

My suggestions for future board meetings are...
Put work sessions back into a rotating schedule between schools. Status of Crisis Plan Items. "Elective positions in middle schools - we now have choice schools" Discussion needed on differing electives at middle schools whether they should  be the same and whether those schools offering different electives should be choice or magnet schools.

Comments:Feedback and squeaks and echos from  podium microphone were distracting (Last meeting as well). Who controls this? Women's voices did not cause the problem.
My favorite discussion was…….. Because…..
Always the students and the "path finders". Budget because it is balanced with no tax increase. Master Plan - charrette idea is great for everything. A Good Meeting. Oakdale staff did great!

My suggestions for future board meetings are...
Does purchase of Ebenezer Elementary property need to be voted on at a public business  meeting? Board needs to be involved with design of a new district office building - need a discussion of board vision for design priorities. Please number the slides to make it easier to find indentity fo questions. We need a policy required charrettes to be used for all major changes/decisions.
