Think the process used with the Equity Committee should be repeted whenever possible to provide input.

I think the balance of stake holders was the best lay out for it, and they came up with some good recommendations

We should seek this collaboration as equals with future groups. In spite of what one member said about consensus, it seemed to elicit the thoughtfulness and investment which we need.

Should be a model for all future ommittees in the district.

I think more time and involvement similar to the process described with the Equity Committee. The number of projects and the buildings recommended require a lot of time to consider.

Meetings with SIC, community meeting and survey positive. Follow-up meetings also beneficial.

It was well balanced with all stake holders, they made some very good recommendations

The schools selected their own reps which, I think, was the process used for Equity. However, I think the first meeting where info was downloaded with no opportunity for discussion, opinion, input by the parents/others present turned many off. The next meeting had less than half of the members present. In the last two meetings finally groups could work and talk together. But NO recommendations were solicited other than the keep choice and provide transportation. A change to build a strong group such as Equity was lost.

I think we must address the academic performance in all grades immediately. This should be our number one concern. No other projects should take time away from improving the academic performane

It is good to discuss academic achievement.

Need info as to what the admin is going to do to fix the low numbers

I want the reports but want some discussion of interventions. I would like us to monitor even most closely progress in K-2 since that is the driver for the below level readers entering middle school.

Obviously the low test scores are a concern, if you have weak leadership at schools you cannot expect teachers to excel

We seldom hear about progress of special needs kids. Yet these influence our outcome measures. (Unless they are no longer included in ESEA which I don't know.) At any rate they make up 10 - 12 % of our population. Progress of English language learners.
